The fact that you can send me weird complaints about someone else’s passion project tells me you have a computer, so you can’t fault him for this (yes a smartphone is a computer) Not incel behavior ✅

Which is a reasonable thing to do, btw. Tinder and Match.com and all those very normal ways to find a girlfriend are all online, in case you weren’t aware. Or even just giving himself the chance to talk to people he doesn’t know irl, who haven’t already made up their mind about him, who might have more in common with him, etc., sounds perfectly reasonable to me.

He coulda been weird about it. He coulda used the comment to beat himself up or make a comment about it being women’s fault or something. But nah. He’s (albeit maybe jokingly) complimenting a friend. Listen. Even if Clint was an incel… people are allowed to grow. People are allowed to make mistakes and say dumb shit and be weird or uncomfortable or god forbid, an incel — AND THEN FIGURE OUT HOW TO BE A BETTER PERSON. You can’t convince me you’ve never said some weird shit to somebody, bc bud, this anon was a little weird! So: let’s wait and see what this update brings. Perhaps there’s a reason for some of the better examples of his weird or creepy behavior. Perhaps he gets a chance to do better.

Either way, this is a game, yall. And not one you created or put any work into. At the end of the day, Eric can do whatever the hell he wants, and that gives you no right to be rude or hateful to him, or Clint fans, or me, which is what my original post was about. You can be disappointed. You can be upset it wasn’t who you were hoping for. You can hate Clint with a fiery passion! You can feel all sorts of things about it, but what you do not have the right to do is be nasty about it or make it anyone else’s problem.
