oh thatās thinking further than I did (for as much as I wrote, I really was mostly chasing an impulse lol, and only thought of about 4 Palace concepts when supposedly there should be 12)
For my characterization of Ren, Iād say itās possible heād make an impulse bad choice after enough earnest attempts, and then the distortion would probably come about from him regretting it a ton after the brief appeal of novelty wore off.Ā Still would probably be very confusing for the PT viewing a distortion based onĀ āgood dealā timeline...although thinking about it, aĀ āgood dealā timeline could also have been what caused the video game Palace (repeating the same thing so many times that things feel unreal and like you can do whatever you want).Ā Going with that idea, the video game Palace should probably be grittier.Ā but maybe that Shadow mellowed out lol
A very possible bad end for an ng+ joker to be distorted over would be if there were multiple timelines where he was drugged too heavily and Sae ended her interrogation early.Ā Since itās not really in his conscious control, if he doesnāt swing events out of order earlier (maybe felt pressured at one point that he had to keep to approximate game timeline), heās seriously rolling the dice.Ā The police station would be...grim.Ā very grim.

Itās possible! Though Iām not completely convinced itās the sole reason for the current hiatus. I feel that if it were, itād make more sense for it to be released this month rather than in April. May is when Natsume Yuujinchou is scheduled to return, and itās a bimonthly series after all, but yeah the oneshot could partially be responsible for it.Ā

after browsing through your blog, i decided to read black butler again after having not read it for several years. after much reading, im finally finished with the green witch arc and getting to new material and am very excited for whats next. thanks! (and good luck on the fic you're currently working on!)
The Green Witch arc was great, it was a fantastic look at Cielās psyche and how he views himself. The Blue Cult arc is long and a bit slow but thereās uh a pretty big twist (which you might know if youāve been on my blog whoops). I hope you enjoy!

Preordered strikers!Ā Though I feel like I should have gotten an e-mail confirming it was shipped by now so Iām a little hmmmmmmm (but I did recently get one asking to confirm the order details so it should probably be fine).
The other game is BD2 which basically means buying a Switch once I beat Strikers, I figure.
I still havenāt played too far into the SMT game I have but I do really like the way the negotiations have a bit of realism in that sometimes the demon is NOT planning on coming with you no matter what you do.Ā sometimes itās just trying to screw you over and is seeing how big a sucker youāll be before it leaves.Ā The bit of Charon not wanting to do his job is a funny way to implement a bit of forgiveness in the game mechanics too.Ā Also just the whole force/blown away status thing and how you recover the lost ally is a neat little status effect that I havenāt really seen anywhere else.
