Aah, we made it to Friday night. I’ve been working hard this week — between the workouts, focusing on eating in a deficit and hydrating enough, trying to get decent sleep, plus helping with the baby whenever I can, both during my workday and before/after work, and doing laundry and dishes, I am wiiiiped. That said, I’m feeling good about the mental progress I’ve made this past week more than anything. Finally finding some discipline feels good. I’m also happy to see the scale going in the right direction.

I realized today that I’ve worked out every day this (work)week. I was going to take a rest day yesterday and found myself with a spare 30 minutes mid-morning, and was genuinely excited to use them to get in a quick cardio session. So I did. Who am I?

While I feel positive about all these changes, I find myself having to stop from snapping at B more than usual this week.. probably because I’m extra tired from all the change and all the energy I’m exerting taking care of me, and of the baby of course, that I don’t have much left. Note to self: let yourself rest more. Be kind.
