Matteo: Ahhhh ja, okay, ich freu mich, aber ich bin auch ein bisschen nervös. Ist ein Mann und heißt Müller-Gerold, ich glaub so zwanzig Minuten von uns? Termin ist aber auch erst in zwei Wochen…

David: Ich denke, es ist total normal, dass man vor einem Termin nervös ist. War ich auch damals… Und 20 Minuten entfernt ist doch top! Klang er denn nett am Telefon?

Bicara. Kunci utama komunikasi untuk meluruskan, untuk menjelaskan, untuk menceritakan, untuk mendiskusikan, untuk menemukan hal-hal yang sebelumnya disembunyikan.

Namun sayangnya, lebih mudah memilih diam dibandingkan bicara. Tampak lebih mudah menutup mulut daripada menyampaikan apa yang semestinya disampaikan.

Meski diam itu emas, tidak selamanya diam itu baik. Diam itu membekukan, bisa jadi lebih dingin dari es sekalipun.

Kenapa anak kecil mudah sekali membicarakan apa saja? Karena mereka jujur apa adanya. Semakin kita dewasa, semakin kita paham bahwa memang tidak semua hal harus dibicarakan. Kita semakin merasa pandai untuk menyaring dan menahan diri. Sampai kemudian lupa, terlalu banyak yang kita telan sendiri. Sendirian.
