Vector's cleaver drips scarlet onto the floor as the massive beast hyperventilates; eyes wide, fur standing on end, his massive body curling in on itself. Every breath is sharp, panicked, crushing.
SONIC (snarling, turns slow as something inside snaps like a chain holding him back)
“You’re DONE!”
Launching into Vector like a cannonball. They crash into the stair rail; stone cracks, wood splinters.
Grunting as he's thrown off balance, but retaliates with a wide swing of his tail. It smashes into Sonic’s side, sending him skidding across the floor before charging again-his shoes kicking up dust off the old stone.
VECTOR (frustrated, confused)
“Sonic what are you doing?! move!! That thing’s a dangerous monster!”
Vector recovers quickly and shoves forward again, bringing his cleaver up but Sonic slams into the gloating reptile as he knocks the ruby edged blade aside with a sharp kick. The cleaver drops with a heavy clang.
SONIC (snarls, an uncommon sight to see short fangs bared)
...You want a monster?
You touch him again, and I’ll show you one.
Vector coughs, winded. Charmy hides behind Espio witnessing the unexpected fallout. The room stills-Sonic’s breath heavy, chest rising and falling with adrenaline.
As the dust settles. Sonic stands firm, chest rising and falling with fury. His body shielding the trembling form behind him.
The icing on top of the cake. After Senator Fluff's unfortunate passing, the living room caught on fire. Gunther bravely (and surprisingly!) fought the fire along with the fire department. The flames were put out before it could spread to the other areas of the house, but the living room was trashed 🙁
