#07.23.15

So today was a pretty laid back day. Got to go in a bit later 'cause of the morning program. Took a later train, panicked 'cause I thought I was going to miss the bus, realised I misread the schedule, ate a banana and got into work. I've realised that the only thing I ate all day was a banana at 10, then I ate at 6 while waiting for my train but that's really not healthy.

Anyways, went in and tried to talk to Alana but she was busy. Awkwardly sat in the other lab updating my lab book and listened as everyone else interacted so easily--update pretty boy from work likes pugs! It's perfect...he's perfect--anyways yeah that also happened during fly meeting at 3:30 which was suuuper boring and they--well one girl, who’s a phd candidate--said I should sit "over there” away from everyone else...Okay, bitch? Oh well :c I can't get everyone to like me.

Work was good. I got results, tried to help Dara to no avail and ran to my bus (lol what’s new).  I got scared creepy 21 year old fuckboi from yesterday was going to be there.  I was waiting for the bus and he texted me and I was like ummm....naaah.  Although my bus came 6 minutes late--I peed my pants panicking--it was okay ‘cause fuckboi wasn’t there, woo!

Then as soon as I got off my train, I ran to my dad’s car across the street and he took me to my high school, a place I didn’t think I’d have to go back to.  Don’t worry it was nothing major.  I just went to see my school’s summer production of Les Miserable and it was hella amazing!!!!1!!1!! Especially considering they were kids ranging from 6-12 grade--like they were literally 12 year olds that had the voices of angels, sweet lorde.  I occasionally forgot they were so young it was so good.  I got goosebumps when some of them sang.

It was nice ‘cause I got to hang out with my friend Emily but she wanted to hang out with me and her other best friend and we were both free only on Thursday (today) and so I suggested that we all go together but silly me and my lack of social awareness, I realised that it wasn’t the best idea as it was a conflict of interest.  I mean, those two have been best friends since fifth grade, and Emily and I have only just met last year in junior year.  I mean, we’ve been best friends since then but still it’s that they have that whole “history” thing going on in their friendship--something I’ve never had, oh well--so they are just closer friends I guess?  I don’t really know how to explain it but I felt v uncomfortable there with those two even though Emily tried her hardest, it seemed, to make me feel comfortable ‘cause she knows that sometimes I’m weird and uncomfortable.

Yep so enough of that weird mopey thing.  I got home, we all watched Bones and it was a nice end to a nice day.
