note: this whole episode felt like a clash of a couple of horror films. it seems to look like joan is back from the dead. i have stated before that i didn’t think will dug the grave that was supposed to be the resting place for joan deep enough. i will express that although it would be wonderful to see pamela’s gorgeous face as ferguson once again, i believe that her life was ended that night even though this episode gives the vibe that she’s alive and well. who actually knows these little quirks about the freak? the gloves, the magpie, and of course the dirt that she was surrounded in. do i think there is a possibility of joan being alive? yes. do i think this is an easy fix? kind of.

everything about this screams joan being alive -- the leather gloves strategically placed on vera’s pillow and the dead magpie on vera’s doorstep. if joan is alive, i really hope she goes after jake as well because though he was oblivious to will burying joan alive, he was still the reason she got place in that box in the first place. i kind of get why joan would go for vera, but like vera said “if she did want to hurt me, why didn’t she?“ well, joan’s a predator so she stakes out her prey, scares them, and ultimately pounces, but something about this feel different.

however, if joan was supposedly alive all this time, where did she go after she got out of the grave? did she have anyone help her or did she do this all on her own? she’s got a very distinguished face and she was all in the papers and on the news, how was she not recognized? how long had she been stalking vera? vera seems to be an object of affection, but what is joan’s plan with vera? does she plan to go after jake? i’m certain she doesn’t know will wasn’t behind the burial.

it looks like will plans to come clean so will we finally see a body or an empty grave? can’t wait to see what’s up.
