A minty 1931 Martin 0-18K spotted at @folkwaymusic for #flattopfriday. Zoom in to see the lovely figuring on the top. . The K is for #Koa of course, and this style 18 features a body made entirely of #Hawaiian Koa and #Folkway’s website says this is one of the cleanest 0-18Ks they have ever seen. This 88 year old time capsule has made it this far without any cracks or loose braces. The finish has almost no wear and it has never been converted from its original Hawaiian setup. Only the bridge plate has been replaced - everything else is original and unmodified.
