When Vulpix is born, it has one single white tail which splits and colors as it grows older, and its fur becomes more luxurious as it ages.

When held, Vulpix and its tails feel slightly warm, and while its fur is luxurious, if not brushed well enough it will become a mess of tangles.

If attacked by a strong enemy, Vulpix will feign an injury to fool its attacker and escape.

Inside of a Vulpix's body burns a flame that never goes out, and this causes the Pokemon to overheat if it doesn't release flames from its mouth to cool down.
