I just got done listening to some Neverglades mysteries narrations by Mrcreepypasta that I didn't know existed a few days back and DAMN IT'S PEAK.

I can't believe that this series is barely talked about on anywhere it's genuinely a great series next to TFTGS. The way it makes noir combined with paranormal elements needs to be studied. Am I the only one who talks about this on here or?!

I'm trying to teach Merlin colors and he's being such a good sport but man is it slow going

#trying tp teach colors because the ring stacker i have needs them to go in a specific order #and i think learning english color names will be the easiest way to cue which one needs to go next #and then chain the behavior and phase out the individual color cues? maybe?#so im started with 2 of the rings and putting them a step away from each other and asking for blue or green #and trying to provide direction with yes and no and good (bridge for treat)#weve had 2 loooong sessions and i thin he MIGHT be getting an inkling of what i want?#i had them too close before so he accidentally learned that he needed to pick one up and drop it on the other and then pick up the other #to get a treat. so ive separated them further and that makes it more difficult to stack them arbitrarily #and gives me more time to provide guidance words and let him think.#i thiiiink its helping?#thankfully hes a very good boy that will keep trying for the treat #he gets a treat when he picks up the right one and gets 2 treats for getting the right one on tne first trt #*try #text #trick tag

People who don’t accommodate their cat’s needs confuse me so much. Yes, there are toys everywhere; it’s called “we had playtime.” Of course there are paper bags and boxes. They need enrichment. Of course I’m going to make cozy spots for my cat to feel safe and happy in when changes to my life made him upset. Yeah, I’m serious, we can’t watch TV when my cat is downstairs because it scares him, and this is his space too.

If your home isn’t fun and safe and comfortable and inviting for your cat, then what are you doing owning a cat? Their needs are important, and their toys and enrichment are not clutter.

So I watched someone else on YouTube react to VELMA (bc I won't waste my HBO Max space) and I'm starting to think the entertainment industry sends an important message with the show...

The message is "If you keep asking for better versions of the source material we WILL make it shittier".

Or, at the risk of sounding completely cynical, "We know you love this source material, but we will make it shittier because riling you up is the best way we can make money than trying anything new or different"
