I was like hmm I want to make stays but then I watched a video on it and this girl was like oh this took me like 100 hours and I was like hm never mind also I don’t want to buy anything so what would I use as bones and then last night I was like oh I could like roll paper up super thin and use that as bones and now I’m so thrilled with my innovation that I want to make stays again.

#also she did it super historically accurate and I’m not going to do that #although my sewing machine is still broken so I’ll have to do it by hand #BUT I also don’t plan on like wearing them much so I can half ass it #do I have a job to do? yes but my printer is also broken so I can’t do it #could I go print it out at my neighbours? yes but I don’t want to so.#stays it is!#if I can find my fabric #also also if you think my paper idea is bad or won’t work keep it to yourself I don’t want to know #the point of seeing is sinking hours into something that doesn’t work and you will not take that from me #*sewing

Cette année comme chaque année on a fait les 23h de la BD avec les potos du Forum Dessiné! C’est un marathon dessiné où on doit créer une bande dessinée de 24 pages (ou 80 slides de turbomédia), sur un thème imposé, pendant 23 heures consécutives durant le week-end du changement d’heure

Le thème de cette année: Attraction fatale, la contrainte: L’histoire doit passer le Bechdel Test! (je crois qu’on a joué avec tous les sens possibles du mot “attraction” haha)

This is mostly a note for myself, but a theme I want to bring out more strongly in TCP is this idea that Jisel is always facing the future while Callebero faces the past. Jisel is quick to shed as much of Capall as she can (superficially) and to try to escape that history while Callebero holds so tightly to a world that isn’t there anymore (and maybe never really was) and can hardly actually fathom/look at the future head on

#which is also why like Callebero’s growth has to be learning to believe in and work toward a future #while Jisel’s is tied up in reckoning with her own past #tcp editing adventures #currently at the point in the draft I’m at rn Callebero is having a small meltdown over fucking up sewinf #*sewing #which is fun

when i have time off this week im gonna get into my minecraft worlds and show off some builds

#if i dont get sucked into my current hyperfix (raft) or into a seeing project that is #*sewing #might show off my rafts if i do tho…. ive got a peaceful raft and ive started a nonpeaceful save #ill look at my PE worlds on my breaks and get some builds from there #mine
