see my problem w ariana grande' vocals is that like. her range is mostly why she gets praised i think. but she relies WAY too heavily on that upper breathy range and i honestly think she's way better when you get to hear the lower (hence i loved her collab w the weeknd on save your tears. it genuinely shocked me they had her sing lower for it). but then maybe i just dont listen to her enough to know how often she dips into it so it may not be a fair take idk
Youβre exactly right. Ariana has a beautiful lower to mid register and does NOT use it enough. And i probably havenβt listened to enough of her music too but everything Iβve heard is very high register. Which I hate.
