so apparently the guy at the tayvis wedding that people said works for ice actually owned a company that merged with a different company that now has a contract with ice but he stepped down years ago after that merger and is no longer affiliated with them. and he openly holds very progressive anti racist and pro lgbt views but people are slandering his name because he went to the wedding of his adopted son’s friend and the internet is always searching for a valid reason to dogpile on the bride. ok

he stepped down as CEO but is still the executive chair of the same company. it's on the amentum services website.
jacobs solutions merged with amentum but he didn't stop being the executive chair. also (and i don't want to link this but this is publicly available), when you search his name, the first hit is his linkedin profile... it clearly states that he's the executive chair of amentum services from september 2024 to present. tiktok is banned in my country so i can't view the videos op has linked but i'd really like to know what's in them. idk about his anti racist or pro lgbtq+ values (again if they're in the videos, can someone please be kind enough to tell me what's in them?) but i just wanted to clear this part up.
also, i read this article by public citizen that talks about prior health and safety violations by other contracts that amentum services had undertaken.
"the new contractor" mentioned here is amentum services (i've also linked the article). there's also a bloomberg article that has similar information about this.
just putting this all out there because sure, the man himself may have liberal values but the company that he's a chair of doesn't. because companies don't have values... it's all about making money and amentum has prior history of violating health and safety standards. they accepted a 453 million dollar contract from the DHS. his personal values aside, he still is the chair of the company that oversees a 5000+ capacity detention center in el paso.
