I have THOUGHTS about Nomi and L.L.... so I have to talk about them:
There's something here ... They're a Something... Not too sure what exactly yet though.
I think the context to their relationship being what it is also depends on whether Musashi is alive and redeemed or not.
I think the basic fact of him being a beautiful giant fat man that makes their jaw drop wouldn't change tho no matter what.
Their attraction isn't just bc his body though his personality also really gets to them. To ME!!! he's so kind and polite and well spoken. He grew on them easily!!!
I think they'd love to try train with him too. They don't know a lot about sumo but he'd be happy to help out. Once again evoking that kindness. Like being taught how to play pool but insaner.
Their arms probably wouldn't even go around his sides... But they'd definitely try push if they locked in. Even if just a little. He'd be very proud of them! It'd be a whole thing, just so sweet.
He's such a sweetheart he'd also just never let them fall and would always catch them and look after them when they play together.
Though outside of their playing it's hard to say if they'd be more than friends. I mean they DEFINITELY could but they're looking for very different things.
Nomi to me is way more of a slow burn romantic he's a guy to go on slow dates and takes thing easy and just prioritizes other things.

He's also empathetic and slow enough to question too if that's what they really even want or if they're just still mourning their partner and don't know what to do.
He'd at least always be willing to comfort them when they break down, always giving words of reassurance, maybe getting a little spiritual (since he IS pretty religious so).
Its basically, there's mutual love and care and even attraction there but the circumstances are all so fucked he doesn't trust L.L. to be in a good position to be a partner to try have something with them and they understand but still are more emotional than he is.
He also reminds them a lot about Musashi so they're often going like I miss my wife tails I miss him a lot I'll be right back...
Though I also don't know how this would go if that angst WASN'T in the way.
Maybe it could flourish with enough time if Nomi can live for that long π
But it's also a matter of L.L. having enough on their plate so they'd be still flirty with him but in a less pathetic I need this I'm at my rope's end and more in a, y'know, casual damn you're handsome I like you a lot! ^_^
I feel their own restraint might help under those circumstances, I feel he'd like that. It'd be cute under those circumstances to see him try date them casually...
I do wonder if Musashi would be a little jealous sndhdnfbrbrb like having existing partner is one thing but finding a new one now that he's around? Taking the attention away from him ... But I'm sure by now he'd have other things to do.
