Can Oli feel a romantic connection in some sort of way?
Yes, sorta, kinda, but it's close to rare or impossible. If he finds a person that can make him feel safe, and would see through his schemes, manipulations and lies and yet accepts him, he would be intrigued. As this person doesn't love "his mask", but the real him underneath. His love is dwindling between obsession of feeling safe with this person and just possession. A relationship with him would be surprisingly okay, if not nice. He knows what you would want him to do or to say, he is a decent actor. But he won't feel love. Maybe rare bursts of compassion. He values things like loyalty and trust. He can enjoy physical affection in some ways too (shoulder massage is always nice). Although, would this love last long? Depends on how interested he is in that person. And how much this person is willing to love a nearly emotionless guy.

I usually don’t write a lot about my group’s monday DnD sessions or about my character in general, BUT Arcelm got an unexpected personal character arc (haha) plot drop and it was S O a w e s o m e *hearteyes*
I always wondered when the perfect moment would arrive, so he could tell his friends that he has a draconic heritage? Since revealing that without any context would have felt a bit awkward to me. Especially because he still is super unsure about that and also the fact that he isn’t really fond of the scales on his body? Sooooo suddenly meeting one of the remaining few of a super old civilization of Dragon peeps was suuuuper mind blowing to him? And, in addition to that, the smol bookworm also got some juicy world lore details from him and so I decided to make Arc drop the background bomb in a pretty unspectacular manner lol (”I’m half Dragon btw”). Because ... suddenly being able to talk Draconic with a guy who really looks like a half dragon humanoid ... put him kinda in the spotlight xD”
And while next session’s main focus will lie on freeing our fighter from a necromancer who made it himself a bit toooo cosy inside his mind (THAT was the actual reason our party went to a “cursed” old underground city in the first place haha and I thought my personal quest would come after that), I am really excited about continuing to pursue Arcelm’s story and the real ancient history of the world we live in ♥
