Wipeout! [13th November 2000]

“Are you sure you don’t mind?”

The voice that was normally steady, joyful, and confident was now a hushed, near soundless whisper. His fingers shook from the nerves that settled deep down within his core, cold sweat formed on the insides of his palms as he dropped his eyes away from his best friends. This was all new to the eighteen year old, the weird feelings he felt in his tummy and the way his heart felt any time his best friend came in the room. He’d known Kyle since he was thirteen, fresh off of the experimentation table and afraid of the world that surrounded him. When it came to friends during that time, Kyle was all that Andres had ever really had beyond his new little adoptive family.

 People would pick, prod, and laugh at the young boy for the horns that stuck out from his hairline, but never his best friend. It was Kyle who stuck up for Andres, it was Kyle who would fight the bullies for him, and it was Kyle who always pulled him into a warm hug and reminded him that he was amazing the he was. 

“Of course I am. You’re safe with me, bro.” In through the nose, out through the mouth. 

Andres repeated the words he’d learned from Mr. Leslie in his head over and over, his chest rising and falling with every deep breath he took the filled his lungs. As he exhaled that third breath, he felt familiar fingers loop in through his own, his hands being pulled in and held warmly sent a tingle down his spine that he’d never felt before. Was this what it felt like to love someone? To truly love someone? Swallowing back, he couldn’t help but be unsure of whether or not he liked the feeling at all. Anything unfamiliar was scary, but at least he was with Kyle through it all. 

“I’m..I’m going to go slow, okay? I’ve never done this before, don’t laugh at me.” 

As Kyle gave Andres’ hands a soft squeeze, the older boy gave a quick nod before allowing his lids to flutter shut. Andres had never been the type to wear his heart on his sleeves or show his emotions this openly. no, he preferred to keep those to himself, to work through them in his head without burdening those he loved and without risking setting himself up for judgement. Still, in the very moment that he closed his eyes, Andres had opened his heart up completely. It didn’t matter how afraid he was, or how vulnerable he’d felt, he knew deep in his heart that he was safe. 

Leaning forward, his face pauses and hovers mere inches away from the younger boys for a moment. A few seconds that feel like a thousand minutes pass, and Andres allows himself to sink into Kyle. Their lips mold together, fitting like perfection in the warmth of their kiss, one of Andres’ hands slips away from Kyles and runs up to stop at his chest, holding it there and feeling the steady rhythm of the other boys thumping heart as his own fluttered away. 

Their kiss was soft and slow, one that felt more like the lips of a breeze than those of a mere boy. He didn’t pull away to breathe, he let his nerves go and explored the taste of his best friends lips, the warmth between the two no longer was a dim flickering flame, but a fiery heat that only grew with every passing second until their lips eventually part. 

And then then Andres kisses him again. once, twice, over and over until his lips have memorized the way Kyles skin feels against his. For the first time in his life, Andres felt what it was like to want someone, to truly want someone so bad that it made your chest hurt and your fingers ache to curl into theirs.

(keep in mind these are just my personal interpretations and no one is obliged to 100% agree)

tweek: anxious scared coffee boy who just needs a helping hand sometimes, although until craig he never got it

craig: seemingly apathetic tough guy but in reality a loving caring space boy deep down

token: chilled out all-rounder (sports, academia, performance/dramatic arts, he seems to have it all), but knows when to put his foot down (like in With Apologies to Jesse Jackson)

clyde: (secretly insecure and emotional) goofball of a fuckboy

jimmy: creative comedian

timmy: among the smartest of the group

stan: cynical clone of his father (except smarter), both in his tendencies/habits and also his relationship

kyle: hard-working and intelligent but hotheaded angry young lad

cartman: manipulative racist misogynist homophobic anti-semitic selfish hotheaded you-name-it douchebag (basically the sort of person no reasonable human being would want to be)

kenny: sex-crazed but very resilient and selfless

butters: entirely too innocent to be around stan and those guys and somewhat ignorant, easily manipulated and doesn’t always have much backbone (but he has his moments)

and wendy cus i love her: opinionated and slightly hot-heated but let’s-get-down-to-business natural leader
