lost memories au (working title) has been in my head for a bit now, yipee. basically:
- like how most white day aus go, tsukasa and rui were on opposing sides. tsukasa was a knight with akito and mizuki, rui was an imperial soldier with toya and saki.
- white day trio had been trying to track down rui for a long time. he'd been causing a lot of trouble (so much so that even toya was concerned...)
- they didn't want to kill him, but they wanted to catch him
- ....to drain his magic. rui was a powerful mage; he had other skills of course, but they knew they'd have an easier time subduing him if he couldn't even do a basic spell
-they also knew rui's behavior might not have been his own. the dark magic had turned him into a twisted caricature of himself. the plan was to take away his magic.....then his memories. it was unethical, but...anything to being their friend back
- the day comes and yay, it's tsukasa who gets to fight rui! the battle is brutal, but tsukasa manages to knock rui out long enough to start the magic draining spell
- ...it's not pretty. the draining spell is, uh, painful for the person getting drained. tsukasa feels like a piece of shit but continues
- some fuckshit happens. rui manages to try and 'cancel' the spell, tsukasa decides he can't let him. rui freaks, tsukasa freaks, spells are thrown, spells go haywire-
-and then all of sudden, they're on a beach and some girl is trying to help them
