#most of it takes place in 1999 over the course of their short lived relationship and then the end is 2007 when dean and lisa meet again#basically dean has a one night stand with lisa in 1999 and shortly after lisa met john who is actually following dean bc he’s testing him#lisa doesn’t know dean’s last name only john’s so when she finds out dean is john’s son and that john is dead she kinda freaks out#sam tells lisa privately that dean thinks that ben is his and if he is lisa needs to be honest with him bc he won’t be able to let it go#lisa assures sam that dean is not the father and that ben’s father john left bc he couldn’t handle being a deadbeat dad to yet another son#sam is like that kinda sounds like our dad tbh lol he kinda lost it after our mom died and he’d disappear for weeks sometimes months on end#eventually they put two and two together and they’re both pretty freaked out once they calm down they decide not to tell dean about this#and with his hell deal impending he doesn’t need to know that his one night stand is actually kind of his stepmom and ben is their brother#lisa doesn’t feel good about it and sam doesn’t love it either but he geniunely thinks that it would be too much for dean to handle rn#she does take some comfort in sam bc although dean is more like john when it comes to aesthetics sam is more like john in personality (via: my tags)
