Sometimes, when you can’t write despite desperately wanting to, really, any idea will do, but you can’t, it’s important to stop and to do something else. To just relax. There is no point in trying to force yourself to write where your brain doesn’t want to. Having five Words document open and desperately thinking about new AUs because if the WiP doesn’t cooperate, maybe a new one-shot will be easier, is a lie and this will not help. Really, trying to force things through is not the right thing to do.
