things abt hunnigan that you would only know if you’ve been to her home for a holiday bc she doesn’t like her agents spending them alone if they’d rather not:
she has a cat named boyd after evelyn boyd granville; she was a stray that ingrid took in. she’s meticulous about lint rolling her suits so there’s no sign of fur when she goes to work but if you’ve ever been over? that cat is attached to her ankles she talks to her like she owns the place ( she does )
she is as organized at home as she is at work but her home is still a little .. homey. you can tell her mom has been there and decorated most of it and you can tell Ingrid is hanging on to a lot of the families belongings ; members who’ve passed, members who were moving and just haven’t made their way around to grabbing the bigger stuff, etc. her kitchen walls are yellow and she mostly has sheer curtains, or at least the solid ones are usually drawn back by the time anybody comes over.
her t.v is modest and so is her car and she lives in a one bedroom house despite making more than everyone in the neighborhood. she has two cars; one that’s old and on its deathbed that she still drives for her commute to work and one that clearly doesn’t get much use but is newer. the old one is a rust red and the new one is a muted gray.
its not just books she has but magazines. they’re all computer sciences and coding and there are a choice few that live on her living room table. if anybody cared to open them they’re annotated and there’re sticky notes tucked between some of the pages. it’s how she learned to code in the first place and the wear of some of them is probably evidence of their use and age.
her bedroom is so beyond off limits she will not give even the drunkest agent her bed it is the couch for them. which is very clearly a couch that’s been around a long time - taken with her from her childhood home when she bought a new one for her parents. it’s broken in which means it’s a trap it’s nap city .
