hmm is it just me or it seems like a lot of people are purposely hate-reading books on goodreads?

I never understand why people want immortal characters to become mortal for someone they love. One, because the idea of someone doing that for me (obviously impossible, but whatever) is completely horrifying. And two, that is like the whole point. The idea of someone who will remember you forever, long after your death, AND having someone who lives life on an incomprehensible scale and wants to be with you (someone who’s life is so much shorter) is just unbelievably romantic to me.

if u guys ever feel stupid just remember that washington state is called that because the government were going to name it columbia but they thought people would get it confused with washington d.c. (district of columbia) so they named it washington......somehow they did not see that they were making the same exact mistake
