I hope they make a mod one day for changing player size like the one for skyrim

DC. was a hard place to live. The wrong parts of town had mutants and bugs the size of a cadillac and the right parts of town had Paladins calling themselves lawmen holding down districts, keeping out the raiders and supers and fuck knew whatever else was going to crawl out of the Potomac any day now.

But Pops said their street was safe. Stay outta the sewers and the subway, kid, that’s what he told her. Stay in the library and I’ll fix up whatever we need. They were a way out from the Hill but it was a straight shot to the nearest Brotherhood outpost if she ran fast enough. They’d all forgotten the word for home but it felt like it. Boarded up windows and four doors- two they welded shut and one could only be opened from the inside anyways.

It was quiet and she read. She read a lot. Learned why Pops’ hair was the same colour as her hair, learned how to stitch him up when he came back wounded bad but with a bag full of pork and beans from the next corner store out. Learned how to dig a hole deep enough that dogs wouldn’t dig it up when she had to say goodbye. Learned how to survive and keep her home he own. Because if National Geographic said a puma could survive on it’s own at two, she could goddamn do it at sixteen.
