I remember in The episode Splitting Images Sydney was the first one to refer to Danny as a halfa but he also referred to Vlad the other halfa as the dreaded I'm wondering if you have any theories on that
I'll be honest Anon, I didn't have any theories on any of that before you asked. (I may still not. I'll let y'all decide that) I also, don't remember the whole "The Dreaded" thing, so a lot of this is going off the name itself and not context from the show. Plus, I don't have any idea when that may have happened, so I can't doublecheck. So, this is just a lot of guesstimating.
So, as far as I can tell, Vlad and Danny are pretty scary to the ghosts. They're not fully ghosts, but they're also not quite human anymore. (Half-a human, half-a ghost. If you will.) And we know that Vlad has been a halfa for a lot longer than Danny. He's trained himself to be stronger. Vlad can literally disintegrate himself for Pete's sake! His ghost form also looks very different from Danny's. He's much more spooky and evil looking.
So, if the ghosts are already nervous (if not terrified) of these half-human things, I can only imagine what Vlad himself could do with that. He's a manipulator. So hearing other ghosts get nervous about him, would only fuel that in him.
I think, he could have become some kind of bogeyman in the GZ. (He isn't near the most powerful ghost, but that isn't what matters. He isn't fully ghost, and can change at will into a human. That's where the big part of his power comes from.) And it makes him a kind of terror to the Zone in a way. (I'm kinda reaching a bit here, but just, stay with me for a sec. It'll get better.)
The title of "The Dreaded" probably stemmed from there. Maybe it was even another name for halfas in general, before being applied primarily to Vlad. Because, let's face it, Vlad can be kinda scary in context. (Not in the show, because it's for 8 year olds. But you get my point.) Vlad and Danny both have free reign over both the Ghost Zone, and the Human World. They are the most powerful ghosts in that respect I would think. And that type of unknown, raw power, is terrifying. Especially in a fourteen year old boy, and a forty year old manipulator. Between the two of them, I'd be scared too.

I just noticed recently. When Chaldea first started, the counterforce and the stray servants summoned are working on their own to fix whatever it is happening. They never really know or expect Chaldea to come or help. But in later chapter, the servants that already worked with Chaldea specifically prepared and wait for them. In LB 6 now, Oberon was actually given information by the counterforce about Chaldea and to help them. Guda really starting to seem like a mini independent counterforce separated from the main one.
yes! there is precedence for this! as they go on, they kind of become The Dreaded to their adversaries. i assume it's like how Servants in an HGW get modern knowledge from the grail
