Jamie was near an explosion and a peice of shrapnel ripped across her throat damaging it permanently.

Huge bleeding heart, loves the wilderness and animals. Helps any and all ways she can. It takes alot to push her past her breaking point but when you do nothing will stop her. Fast way to do it is by hurting her friends/family ( because honestly, the shit they've all gone through together, they're family now, at least in her book.)

She doesnt like leaning on others for help or expressing her emotions, shed rather bottle that up than "bother" others with her problems. However, she encourages others to do the exact opposite.
