the only good men are fictional

currently, I am working on a multi-chapter fic, a Kinich x oc thing that is very much self-indulgent. the masterlist is here!

the thing I talk about most on here is my Genshin Impact oc (meant to replace the Traveler), who I'm calling Lucifer in place of their human name. it's a lore thing.

their other two versions (because I'm insane like that) are named Canyndra and Eiridis, though I'm not nearly as insane about them.

"no, hey, wait, what the hell happened?" Kaeya snapped, unable to do anything but follow.

"I bit off more than I could chew is all," Diluc sighed. he had the grace to look at least a little guilty about leaving a mess in his wake.

"understatement of the century," the Honorary Knight scoffed, smacking his hands away from a sizeable gash across his ribs. "also, don't touch that. the Abyss is no joke."

"right, because that's so informative. how about this: why wouldn't you just go to the church?"

"the church doesn't know how to deal with this." Diluc's entire face contorted when the Traveler shoved their fingers into the wound (and Kaeya promptly decided he didn't want to know what exactly they were doing), but kept talking. "they aren't equipped to handle anything Abyss-related. believe me, I wouldn't be here if I didn't have to be."

"clean and quiet is a solid start," the Traveler elaborated distractedly. "all we're here for is to get rid of the bullshit that is Rifthound corrosion. clear that, then go to the church for the physical damage. I look forward to the earful you're gonna get."

"shut up."

"careful, that's almost a curse."

"kid."

"uncle."

Diluc made a face so offended it was almost comedic. "oh, don't call me that. I'm not old enough."
