i think its greatly fun to learn how the names of historical figures/characters are pronounced in english when you grew up w the french pronounciation. imagine hearing "achilles" pronounced ah-ki-leez for the first time when your whole life its been pronounced ah-shill. such little wonders happen regarding many names

Take a man with loads of material power (brilliant, magical, high status, physically dangerous, capable, etc.) but whose mental health is a total disaster area and a woman who should theoretically be at his mercy but who has such towering emotional power that she is the one doing most of the rescuing and calling all the shots and I will ship that shit like it's my job.
