clive had agreed wholeheartedly to the suggestion when it arose. had crossed his heart and SWORN up and down that the secret would stay with him until death if they got caught. had agreed that the world owed them as much -- for the way it had robbed them, robbed their FAMILIES over a few slight differences in biology. but he still couldnāt believe theyād really, actually, truly DONE IT. and a whole four days later, the cops werenāt even at their door.
theyād robbed a bank and got away.
well, so far, at least. and turning to face bobbi where they sat loosely sprawled atop each other on his dorm bed, clive couldnāt help but crack a grin; a little manic, a little fond, a little in LOVE with the rush forged between them. hands feather light at her hips lest they come away bruised beneath his excitement. ā oh my god. ā he muttered slow into the still of the room. ā oh my god. ā all of it settling slow; creeping beneath his skin at a molasses pace.
ā donāt suppose we have to worry about meal plan shit tonight. we could eat out. we could eat WELL. you want to hit up one of those five star joints downtown ? the rooftop bar ? i can use whatās left in my account. we wonāt even have to touch the stuff from central. but knowing itās there opens doors, right ? we should... enjoy it ? ā
