Below are some more sunflowers 🌻 that were planted the night before last. Ferry-Morse brand Mixed Colors blend. I haven’t planted the whole seed pack yet only the nine newspaper pots shown in pictures. These will be the shortest variety I have. According to the seed pack. Spacing will be 18 inches. Sunflowers 🌻🌻 Yes, plural!

Two nights ago I did plant a lot of sunflowers. 🙂 in the below pictures you will see in two trays 22 newspaper pots. Each contains one or two seeds. All seeds were planted from seed packet shown. Ferry-Morse brand Mixed Colors blend. They will grow up to 5 feet and need to be spaced 6 inches apart based on the back of the seed packet. The vegetables will be ready for transplant the weekend of February 17. 🙂 Urban Roots has an event going that day and I plan to go pickup more seeds and soil. Peace and Love xoxox Rachel Sue

Planted today, 8 Vivian Romaine lettuce seeds. I picked these up at Lowes in the seed section. Ferry-Morse brand. Four seeds sunk in each of 2 squares. Peace and Love xoxox Rachel Sue

Cucumber. It may not transplant well. I’m pretty sure these are direct sow rather than start indoors. Peace and Love xoxox Rachel Sue

Eggplant 🍆 Comparison – Update

For my comparison of Ferry-Morse and Burpee Eggplants 🍆🍆🍆🍆 they are pretty close. However, Burpee has a lead in overall size and health. The seedlings are all growing well. Still two to three weeks from transplant. By then I hope to have a few more boxes built. If my pocket book can work it out. I was out from work a day last week and will take a loss in pay this week so it will be a tough week. 😦 Hopefully, the truck won’t break down again, too. 😦 Peace and Love xoxox Rachel Sue
