"It's not like I pulled a few favors on my side too or anything." Mute doesn't sound remotely convincing.
“I say we put these favors to good use and shut off the outside world for, say, a few days.”
"Huh, look at that. I have downtime on Coruscant when Mute has downtime." "What are the odds?"
"Would you really roll my head, ner vod?" – Mute, probably
"Well... Mostly certainly in one way."
"Our naps never seem to last long enough." — Mute, probably
“Cut off by some blaring alarm or rude interruption someone... We should invest in a locking, soundproof room.”

Peck or Smooch - Mute ❤
The hangar was quiet after Delta arrived back from their mission to some backwater part of the Outer Rim, visiting a lonely planet draped in the dim light of its dwarf star. It was rumored to have an old Separatist outpost--and it did. However, what they found, was a skeleton of a research base, a supposed testing ground of various weapons. No significant information was gained, and that frustrated Sev to no end.
He stayed in the hangar, telling the others he’d meet up with them later. And he would. For now, he needed the silence--aside from some clones working and the distant humming of the ship--to clear his mind. Until he heard footsteps approach. His head was in his hands, almost scowling as he began to speak.
“I don’t want visitors. I’m fine.”
“Sure you are.”
The voice was so familiar but he could say that another million people. This one, however...
He looked up and the person standing above him made him smile, moving to stand but was stopped by a quick shake of the man’s head. He placed a gloved hand on the wall next to Sev, leaning down slowly to meet him, a smile gracing his features as well. Lips pressed to Sev’s in a tender kiss that he almost ached for in the days--no, weeks--following their separation. Sev reached up, cupping one of Mute’s cheeks to keep him there for as long as he could.
Until the other broke it off, pressing their foreheads together now but never moving to stand or sit.
“Cyar’ika.”
And if anybody else was around, they could probably hear the galaxy’s most feared sniper getting choked up as he said that one simple word.

Cecil knocked on the door, hard and rapidly. This was an emergency, and he knew he couldn’t rely on Steve (just knew it), but he didn’t have much of a choice this time. His voice was gone, and, though he was loath to say it, he needed help.
He didn’t want to bother Carlos, not when he was busy with his science, and Steve was the only other person he could think of.
