Long story short:
Allison sacrifices herself, as canon suggests, only instead of dying Amanda bites her before she's completely lifeless. She turns, and the first few weeks are Rough. Her wounds heal, but the process makes her kind of feral for the first couple weeks as she adjusts. Amanda's about the only thing that calms her, and the two grow close, unrequited feelings on both sides coming to the surface, and Amanda helps her through the adjustment period until she's got her head on straight again.
Oh, I ain’t perfect,
They had had a class together. Her brows eased from their tensed state as she realized where she had recognized him from, the man across the bar. The one who smiled at her, a charming half crooked smile as he raised his glass and raised his chin towards the drink that had been delivered to her from the bartender. She debated denying it, returning it, not playing along in this game but… he was cute. He was cute and Lucy loathed to let down a pretty face, so she smiled back coyly, taking the offered drink and raising it up in acknowledgement, a far off ‘cheers’ and drank it down in one go, never taking his eyes off him. She hadn’t expected that one drink to change her life as drastically as it did, but it had. Lucy went from drinking and dancing in clubs a few days a week with strangers as a means of escaping her own thoughts to actually putting effort in her classes, to hanging out with Gregory James Ward and meeting his friends. She went from the shallow acquaintances of party buddies to finding best friends of her own, friends she would wingman for, watch movies with, hang out with sober (something she hadn’t done much of since she was fifteen). But all thanks to that drink, Lucy didn’t so much as build a life for herself so much as find herself stumbling into one. Her demons didn’t disappear, but they quieted. She was on the up and up, finally having the family she always wanted. She felt less alone.
When they told her what happend to the orphange, all her world crushed down. With it shutting down, there was no way for her to fulfill her dream anymore; The only chance she decided not to waste, and to keep for herserlf, the only thing she was able to work for, vanished in the length of a sentence leaving her… empty. She had no way to build a new life, nor to get to her old one. She had no place to stay in anymore, she had— nothing. Just plain nothing, not even one hope to hang on. That’s when the Scout approached her. With her stuff already in boxes she couldn’t carry all at once and that she had to move outside the university’s property in less than one hour, the figure didn’t have to do a lot to make sure she would have run away. It just said
"Your life is not empty."
It took Risako a moment to realize that, even though her whole universe collapsed, there was one thing able to embrace her in good feelings and keep her going— or better, it was a person. Looking around herself, everything was a pain… except for Jurina. Yes, it was cheesy and too pretencious for her to think that, but what there was between her and the other girl was the only good thing left from all that mess. "Follow me to UZA, and you’ll be with her forever." The figure beside talked again, giving shivers down Risako’s spine— yet, the invite was tempting. Really tempting. Jurina would have been mad at her, yet… maybe she would have liked to not have to struggle to get to her. To see her more often, if not every day. To perform for, and with her. Letting that box go, she just quietly nodded. «Bring me to her.»

A dark quietness fell over her father as the young Jessica lay nearby on the floor book in hand. Moment's like these were plentiful as father had many a thing to attend to, but today was different. Today, something had happened, something dangerous. Stories had been told, though she only heard them briefly as her father kept her contained most of the time. Her power's the ones of ice and snow were growing by the day, growing to be too much. She had wished to go outside, to do many things, but it was impossible for her as she was too great for the common man to deal with .
A sigh fell past her young lips as she looked back at her father who was now pacing the floor. It took only moment before he looked over at her, giving a knowing look. Frowning Jessica stood up, knowing her father would need some assistance , though she didn't know of what sort. " Something wrong ?" She asked, her fingers finding themselves into her pockets of the blue jacket she wore. Earlier that day her father had tried speaking to a young girl, she didn't seem too thrilled, but Jessica stayed out of it as she didn't want any part in his fights. She respected that he could do is own thing, fight his own battles, until he calls for assistance. Her fathers burned into hers as he shared the events of the girl, she had ran away. That was the breaking point; the deep end that caused her father to tell her details that he kept guarded for so long. She had a sister.
This news shocked her; she had been told for so long she was the only one. That there was no one like her, but yet there was another. Angry slightly built up in her, but it'd be no use she couldn't be angry. Not at a time like this. The girl was gone; lost somewhere in her own emotions. She had to come back and Jessica had to be the one to find her.
Sliding on her shoes the girl quickly ran out the door. It was the heat of summer, it surprised her really how hot it was, her skin actually felt somewhat normal for a change as she ran down her walk way. Her feet hit the ground in large strides as she moved quickly; looking anywhere and everywhere for her 'sister'. The one she never knew. Her newly dyed dark hair was blowing in her face as she did blocking her visage. She had to find this girl; she just had to though she had no idea what she looked like or even really a clear name.
All she knew is that she was like her, which was good enough for her as she came across an icy trail though it was one of the hottest days, this ice seemed to stick to the grass, she knew she'd come to the right place. Carefully she walked onto the ice and followed the path, hoping to find who she was searching for.

Most people assume words or spells are required to cast magic, but this isn't the case. The words only lend focus and name to the desired effect or outcome. Also, it is Greek and not Latin (which people often associate with the old and divine) which the followers of Hecate spoke and invoke to this day.
The only group more influential in witch culture than the High Council the the Trio of witches, the Mother, the Maiden and the Crone. These witches live together for their entire adult lives, removed from society, priestesses with a special connection to Mother Hecate and the world beyond our own. They have no political influence but offer only council and advice. Some believe them to be the mouth piece of Hecate on Earth while others consider them to simply be divine in their wisdom and abilities. The Trio will each offer their own advice according to their station and advice is final. It is also often cryptic and requires yet more introspection. The Trio are called upon in grave times, to address grave matters, often more spiritual than political. However, their word is considered most revered and respected.
