You’d come over, right?
Alex hated being alone, hated being told what path he was supposed to follow in life and in his relationships, hated all of the uncertainty, but all of that lead him to Jessica’s hotel door. Mixed in with the uncertainty and loneliness, there were the several smaller bottles of alcohol he was snagging from the fridge in the hotel room, knowing full well he was going to have to pay that back before they left. It was later in the day and a few of them were grabbing dinner, but Beth hadn’t really come out to hang out and he wanted to give her the chance to be around everyone if she wanted, so he didn’t go and instead ordered a pizza and had it delivered to his room before taking it to Jess’. He didn’t know why this felt right, he probably wouldn’t have done it a day ago, but the lonely sucked and so did the reality that he didn’t have a distraction from not having his best friend anymore. He found himself knocking, a couple boxes of pizza in hand as the door opened. “Hey, delivery.” He gave her a little smile. “Figured you were missing dinner tonight again and ... well I ordered a pepperoni one naturally, so..” He held it up with a little shrug. “Mind the company?”
