I saw this and keep seeing things like this and I grow quite tired. To give some context, Dreamcatcherās Agency releasd a apology letter for having wearing a dreadlock wig as a penalty on Navers Rooftop Live. Itās so sad to see that people think that we as black people are only upset about cultural appropriation just because we donāt get recognized for it. No because in this situation our hair is being seen as a penalty. I didnāt even bother commenting on r/kpop because I could feel how lengthy of a discussion it would be.

The only reason that the company retracted their original statement calling it a āmisunderstandingā which is a far cry from their new apology is not 'cause of black or international fans, its 'cause they actually got backlash from knetz. The backlash was big enough for the article of the controversy to climb back up on Naver so they decided to re-publish an apology that seemed more sincere and acknowledging šš
