Caught
Just a cute little Bern/Dogma thing I decided to write after seeing this post here. And I'd wanted an excuse to write some pointless fluff anyway. xD
It had become an odd habit of sorts for Dogma. Whenever Bern was asleep, but Dogma himself still laid there awake as ever, he would simply look the other over calmly for a while.
He would reach a hand over, playing with the bangs that always rested against the male’s forehead or occasionally stroking the other’s hand with his thumb. Really just little absentminded gestures. He was honestly quite surprised the other had yet to notice.
After a while though, Bern began to notice Dogma had been acting a bit different. He’d be doing his best to stay awake even by the time Bern himself had drifted off. He was getting very curious, so he decided a little joke would do to figure out just what the other was up to. Something dirty? Seemed unlikely, but he would find out soon enough...
So the next time the two had had one of their times together, Bern decided to act. Dogma seemed tired, staring up at the ceiling with a dazed look, that cute blush of his still dusting his cheeks. Dogma noticed Bern hadn't pulled him closer like he typically would. But he didn't think much of it, only waiting for the other to fall asleep.
Seeing that he had (or in this case, seemed to have had) fallen asleep, Dogma made his move. He rested his head in the palm of one hand, the other reaching over to brush the other's hair, gently enough the other wouldn't be woken... If the other had actually been asleep to begin with.
Dogma smiled--He was still surprised that this man was the one he'd somehow fell for, or that he'd fallen in love in general. Though, he didn't dislike it in the slightest. His knuckles briefly brush the other's cheek, looking down for a moment as if in thought before he felt a familiar hand take his, kissing his palm. His head shot up to see Bern looking right at him with a grin...
... Shit.
"Wow, Dogma--I least expected you of all people to do something so sweet."Â Mission accomplished.
"What... You..." A bit of a glare, feeling an embarrassment and a blush return to his cheeks, to which Bern simply laughs, leaning up to press his lips to Dogma's. The demon relaxed at this, sighing at the other as he pulled back to grin.
"You can be really cute, you know that?" Bern teased, watching as Dogma's brow twitched.
"... You little shit. And I'm not cute, damn it." Bern gave another laugh at the retaliation, kissing Dogma's nose, to which he blinked before giving a smile.
"Yes you are~." A sigh from Dogma, before he lies back down, letting the other pull him closer as usual. Before too terribly long, they were both asleep.
