This here is really just a repost of this long thing from my old art/fic blog.
Dogma had been at home reading since he’d gotten done visiting Alice. He very much enjoyed visiting her, but as she and Bern knew he was often concerned for her safety and visited to make sure she was doing alright. It was getting dark out now, and Dogma thought to himself, “Once I finish this chapter, I’ll take a walk.” He was quite the night owl, after all.
… Thing was, his mind wasn’t on his book at all. Rather, his mind was on what had transpired with he, Alice and Bern a few days prior to now. Watching the other two like that… He wasn’t surprised Alice eventually grew timid. It was so much to take in. Sure they had made up, had dinner before they went their separate ways, but still…
He kept wondering… Had Dogma left the girl uncomfortable being around him? Did Alice fully trust him? He knew it wasn’t like him to worry, but just as with Bern, he loved Alice dearly and wanted her to be happy. He also knew she still much preferred Bern. But it was only natural. He’d earned a spot in her heart first.
He was snapped away from her thoughts when he heard someone at the door. He approached and opened it to see the very girl who’d been on his mind since then… It was in her soul, there was something bothering her. Whatever it was, surely he was to blame–
–Or so he thought before she simply hugged him tightly. His eyes widened, wondering what had her like this, but she only held him, and they stood there in silence till she finally spoke.
“… I-I want to stay with you for a while.” Dogma looked down at her, wondering what Alice meant for a moment. Wait, did she mean-? “After before. I ended up putting a stop to everything and caused Bern… Quite a bit of discomfort cause I wasn’t fully comfortable with you being there. I-I want to make that up to both of you and prove I’m alright with what happens from here on out, so…”
“Hey, hey.” He put a finger to Alice’s lips, stopping her rambling, giving her a serious look. “I get you want to prove yourself. But please, don’t force yourself in the process. I’ll only agree if you’re absolutely certain.” She was so determined.
Dogma knew she wasn’t always confident in herself, not only in things like this but even just in general. That bastard Tine had left her so uncertain with his awful words to her, it was honestly no wonder she was trying so hard…
Brushing her bangs from her eyes, he could see every ounce of her uncertainties, but there was something else there too. He knew that anywhere, it was the same loving look Bern always gave him… His eyes closed, deciding to just hold her.
“Here. Why don’t we sit down and talk for a bit?” He led her to the couch, pulling her into his lap. She paused, before relaxing into him, slowly. The ghost of a smile graced Dogma’s lips, stroking her hair back. Maybe just chatting for a bit would ease her… He paused for a bit, considering what to say.
“You know Alice, I’ve never thought about it much before, but you and Bern’s eyes are incredibly similar.” Alice blinked, said eyes rolling up to look at him.
“That’s actually true, isn’t it…?” She’d never thought much about it either. She rested against his chest, content with letting the male hold her for now. “… Your eyes are really nice too. Not sure if I’ve said that before, but they are.” Dogma smiled at this.
“I don’t think you have. It’s rare for me to hear others say they like them.” Alice tilted her head. She could imagine why…
“That just makes it all the more special, doesn’t it?” Dogma laughed, moreso as Alice snuck a kiss to his cheek before resting against him again. She always knew what to say.
“What do you think you, Bern and I should do next time we get together?” He asked, Alice then realizing what he was doing. Talking like this would help things along, wouldn’t it? She smiled a little, thinking for a moment.
“A movie could be fun. Or maybe even just a walk in the park…” She also had the image of simply sleeping nestled between the two. Still clothed and all, but sound asleep and warm. Her eyes closed for a moment, taking in the male’s warmth as he held her a bit closer. “Say, Dogma…”
Dogma looked down at Alice again to see she looked like she had something more to say. She seemed to be hesitating.
“Is there something wrong…?” He asked her, watching her look up at him and then away again.
“N-no, there’s nothing wrong, but…” Dogma watched her, noticed her growing timid again. “I-I want to say I love you. But… I don’t know if it’s the truth or not yet… And I wouldn’t forgive myself if I lied to you.” He smiled warmly to her. That was just like her… He placed his arms around her waist.
“I love you regardless. You’re considerate and sweet to others. You’re absolutely beautiful even though you’re so modest about it. You’re so cute with how shy you are. There’s so much about you that pulled me in.” Alice could feel her heart beat hard at this. She looked downward, she was clearly deep in thought. She looked up at him for a moment, receiving a bit of a surprise as Dogma kissed her.
She felt like she could do this, like she could open up to him more. Dogma had made the first move, yes, but he would let her move at her own pace. He smiled a little against her lips, arms wrapping a bit tighter around her. She was still a little tense, he could feel, and he needed to make her feel more comfortable. And he knew she liked the feeling of simply being held. So he pressed another kiss to her lips, and then a third that lasted longer than either of the previous ones.
When he pulled back from the kiss, Alice looked down again and bit her bottom lip a little. He waited for her response, keeping his arms around her. After a pause, she decides to kiss him again, pressing it a little deeper than the previous one and, after another pause, lets her lips part against his. She seemed relatively sure of herself, so Dogma went along with it, slipping his tongue past her lips and feeling her tremble. One hand drifted to her hair, the other remaining around her waist. She slowly relaxed beneath his touch.
Pulling away to let her catch her breath after a bit longer, she seemed to be growing more comfortable with his touch. He leaned up to her lips again, and Alice watched as the demon trailed his lips along, across her cheek and jaw down to her neck. At that point, she felt something in her that made her heart skip a beat. Something about this… She felt her heart flutter. And with Dogma’s lips over her pulse point, surely he could tell. She bit back a moan as he sucked at her neck, though not enough to leave much of a mark.
“Holding your voice back?” Alice jumped a little, looking to see him giving her that smirk of his. Well, he’d heard it before, embarrassingly enough… He wondered for a moment as he sat there, could he take this further? Everything depended on Alice. He moved his hands to the bottom of her shirt as if he would take things further, watching closely for any reaction. She takes hold of his hand; Was she stopping him there?
“I-if you wanna go any farther than this… Shouldn’t we go somewhere else…?” Dogma blinked. That was… Unexpected.
“Are you alright with it though?” She looked off to the side, nodding.
“… Y-you’ve seen my upper half before… Remember…?” She had a point. Before, with Bern… He nodded, watching her stand up and following suit, guiding her to his room. At that point, there was a mutual awkwardness. Rather rare for Dogma, but this was Alice, after all… He watched her walk in, sitting down on the bed. She could hardly even look at him. This was embarrassing. Dogma sighed, sitting beside her and turning her head to look at him.
“Are you certain you’re alright?” Alice gave a nod. She actually felt okay with this… Somehow or another. She thought she’d barely get past kissing him, and yet here they were. She wondered what had changed it… The demon suddenly stood, and she watched as he removed his vest and shirt, setting his gloves and noose aside as well. Dogma had thought, maybe she would be more comfortable if she saw him as well. It definitely eased her a bit.
He moved toward her again, and she moved further back towards the headboard as the male joined her there. He moved into her lips, hands moving along her sides to move beneath her shirt. She noticed how his hands felt different against her skin than Bern’s had. His eyes locked with hers for a moment. She hadn’t stopped him yet… He was glad to see her so brave, but the thought she was forcing herself still nagged him. He might’ve been being too cautious with her… And somehow, Alice saw that.
“Don’t worry. It really is okay to keep going. I want you to.” For the first time in a bit, she smiled. “You and Bern both… You’re sweet. And you’ve done so much for me. I’m going to give you a chance to love me as well.” Her smile suddenly faded for a bit. “I’ve been paying so much attention to Bern… I made you feel left out, didn’t I?” Dogma was surprised to hear all this, watching the girl lean up to kiss him.
Truthfully… He had felt a little left out, watching how Alice had always stood so close to Bern, how a few days prior she’d spent a good bit of time rested against his shoulder. How she always seemed to smile a little brighter at Bern. But he pushed it aside, pressing back against the kiss as his hands began to push her shirt up. After a point, he pulled back as the shirt was pulled over her head, listening to her voice as he kissed at her neck again.
Alice felt her bra come loose and fall away from her body, eyes remaining closed and taking comfort in how gentle his touch was. Unexpected of someone of his nature. But in Dogma’s mind, he had to be. Because this was her. This was the girl he’d somehow come to love. He pulls back to look at her, feeling that warmth again. He was surprised again to see her lay back, but realized she merely meant to make herself more comfortable.
He saw Alice look away for a moment. Was she a bit self conscious? He sighed, smiling weakly. He saw little reason for her to be… “You really are beautiful.” He whispered as his hands reached up to her breasts, taking hold and giving them a squeeze. He paused for a moment as he heard her moan softly, he’d thought she’d keep trying to hold herself back. He found himself smirking, as hard as he was trying to suppress it.
This just made things more interesting… However, he still knew he could only go so far. He wondered just what was showing in his eyes when they locked with her own, seeing her tension, and yet he could see she trusted him. That made him incredibly happy. He leaned down to meet her lips, one hand returning to her chest as the other rested next to the girl. He pulled away from her lips after a while, watching as she turned her head and tried to catch her breath. Her pink cheeks were always an amusing sight.
She watched as the male’s lips brushed her cheek, moving lower and pausing to kiss at her neck before dipping down to her chest, glancing up at her for a reaction. He could feel her heart beating almost frantically, almost pulling away before feeling a hand slowly reach up into his hair. Was she comfortable with this? She took a deep breath in, before nodding. He leaned down, lips pressing to the soft skin. She trembled, feeling her heart flutter once again.
“I can’t tell you just how much I’ve wanted to see this part of you.” There was a small pause, as his lips continued to press to her breasts, slowly drifting lower toward the hem of her pants; He would go no further than that. “… And even more of you as well.” He heard a small noise pass by her lips, one of those little flustered squeaks of hers. She heard the male let out a laugh, his breath was warm against her skin. “Sorry, too much?”
“I-it’s fine…” She resisted letting her back arch, trembling a bit again as he kissed her more. A hand remained at one of her breasts as he kissed and licked over the other. There was another mutter of her beauty, lips attaching to her nipple. He felt her back arch, letting out another moan. It brought the male a certain warmth, hearing her moaning like that.
“Dogma…” He actually flinched a bit at the sound of his name. God, was she trying to make it harder for him to keep himself back? She was cute like this, but he had to make sure of something. He moves up to look at her face, a hand lazily tracing designs on her shoulder.
“Should I stop here?” He still wondered if he’d gone a bit too far with it… She looked to the side, as if in thought. While awaiting her response, Dogma wondered. Bern and he both had concerns about all this, he knew Bern and the girl had gotten farther but… He was stopped as she looked up at him again.
“… Yeah.” Dogma gave her a nod, leaning down to kiss her cheek.
“Then I will.” Another kiss. “You’ve done well… Now, let’s get you back home.” He aimed to move away from her, but a grip on his shoulder stopped him.
“Is… Is it okay if I stay here for tonight?” She seemed afraid to ask. But he wasn’t about to deny her wish, nodding to her. He watched her sit up before looking down at the bed. “Also, um… A-are you at all…?” She looked off to the side, her face going bright red. A blush dusted Dogma’s cheeks as well when he realized what she meant, looking away as well.
“Admittedly… A bit.” This was what he got for trying to avoid it… Alice glanced over. “I’m fine though, really. It’ll calm down.” He looked back at her with that, before Alice started laughing.
“S-sorry, I just made things awkward.” Dogma shook his head. It was really alright. He knew she was merely concerned for him as well. He stood to find her something more suitable to sleep in, as well as something for himself.
Alice started pulling back the covers, thinking to herself, what would Bern say to all this? Would he be worried she was pushing herself? She really wasn’t, she’d wanted to try getting further with the demon but just never took the chance… She sighed, waiting for Dogma to return.
“Here.” He handed her a spare set of sleep clothes, watching her put the shirt on. It was still a tad large on her, which he bit back a laugh at. But she looked comfortable. He walked away to change into his own clothes, returning a couple minutes later. He watches her lay down and decides to join her. For a moment, her back was to him and he was going to take the opportunity to hold her.
“… Thank you.” Dogma’s eyes widen slightly, watching her turn to face him before giving him a smile. He smiled in return, perhaps wider than intended. His arms wrapped around her, feeling her nuzzle into his chest. She seemed more comfortable now, and the demon pressed his lips to her head. Hearing her mutter his name, he looked down at her. Her eyes said everything but he watched as she struggled to speak.
“I love you.” She eventually managed to say, pressing her face to him with a sigh. Yulia, that shouldn’t have been so difficult to say. The demon held her closer in response, and before they knew it they’d drifted to sleep.
