now that we're at the end i must say revenant's storytelling has been so exquisite. week after week watching the progression of the plot and how smoothly it layers itself has been so so impressive

started vagabond(2019) this morning and ep1 had some of the best action sequences I've seen in a kdrama everrr

lots of thoughts after today's ep but foremost is that munchun dying or getting severely injured has always been important for hongsae's storyline and for him to seriously begin suspecting abt the existence of ghosts. it was either this or for something to happen to him directly. it is in a sense quite similar to what happens to erin bruner from the exorcism of emily rose. another thing I keep coming back to is, that sanyeong is definitely dying at the end of this, either killed by the spirit or as a sacrifice to banish the spirit, I just don't see her making out of this alive in any form.
