Throughout the history of the Crystal World, hierarchy is a part of the world's fundamental decided by the Crystar, Dragnar. Though it may not be perfect, the Crystar believed that every life has a role and that role must be fulfilled for the world to function.

For many eras, the system of the inhabitants changed as the great conflict amongst them forces the sudden change for their betterment of them.

Origin era is where the first life of society was born. When the line between deity and mortal still runs through the inhabitants. In the origin era, the inhabitants were divided based on their divinity or the moment they were created and also colours.

In this era, both hopers and dreamers use titles to differentiate themselves from others. If someone uses their titles, it means that they requested the holder to act as their titles would be. It's also used when referring the title holder in a serious or respected matter.

⬦ ℭ𝔢𝔩𝔢𝔰𝔱𝔦𝔞𝔩𝔰

Celestials are the guardian and God of the Crystal World. They're above the arches who maintain order in this world. The only known celestials inside the Crystal World is Dragnar, the Crystar and MoiRai, the Seraphim.

⬦ 𝔄𝔯𝔠𝔥𝔢𝔰

Arches are the first eight hopers and dreamers created by Dragnar. They're the angel and the guardian of their respective soul traits and species. Each of them has their followers that follow their teaching in the early stage of the world. As time passes on, these followers passed down their knowledge onto their children and the arches' job shifted to being a watcher and guider.

Each species has its own arches that will be explained detailed in the 【 Arches of Dragnar 】 and 【 Arches Partners 】 chapter in the Pandora Book.

⬦ 𝔉𝔬𝔩𝔩𝔬𝔴𝔢𝔯𝔰

Followers are divided into their respective traits and species and they follow their arches. Their roles are mainly to fill this world and served the celestials and arches. Usually, celestials and arches wear white and soft colours clothes to present themselves better.

For followers, the more you wear white, the higher you are than the ones that wear dark coloured clothes as it's deemed unattractive and not clean. It's more evident when the first 【 Monstre Lucifent 】 appeared. Each follower has their arches symbols and colours and is complemented by neutral colours and metals.

With the First Great War ended, sealing the fate of the inhabitants to a new society. Though it's for the good of the world, many suffered and wants nothing to do with war. Ah, but the lords are the leader and their guide to the righteous path, no? With the new world, rejecting their God for abandoning them, they took their own step to make the world they desire.

⬦ 𝔒𝔳𝔢𝔯𝔩𝔬𝔯𝔡𝔰

The overlords are the leaders and guardians of their own region. With each region allied with another to preserve their existence and beliefs. Overlords are the previous arches ruling over their region or followers. Unfortunately, not all arches survived and usually, their children would succeed.

Overlords are the general terms of these leaders. They could have a title anything they want and usually, they would have a second in command if they were busy or absent. A second in command could be their heir.

Each region has their set of rules related to how they dress. It would be explained in the 【 Medieval 】 chapter.

The barons are the nobles under the direct rule of the overlords. They help the overlords rule their respective regions. They usually wear their respective region colour. Their style of clothing also depends on their region and their overlord's liking.

⬦ 𝔊𝔲𝔞𝔯𝔡𝔦𝔞𝔫𝔰

Guardians are the protectors of the region. They serve under the overlords and barons and are considered almost the same as a baron. Guardians in each region are different and are an umbrella term for knights, mages, seers, etc.

They're usually sworn in and put a seal to prevent any betrayal of their oath so they would remain loyal to the overlords. Although, not all regions implement this method as they see it as a tyrant way.

Commoners could be divided into the middle class and the lower class. The middle class are the working people under the baron. They're usually get paid little or sometimes never. Some regions put a believe that what they did is a righteous act when they cannot serve as a guardian.

The lower class are often slaves to the middle class and the class above them. They're never paid and their family is bound to serve their master's family. It's very rare for someone to elevate them by "freeing" them.

The inhabitants would use titles as a means to address themselves as their job is or to differentiate from others.

Outcasts are the forbidden class. They're the lowest of the lowest in the class system. Often, they're even excluded from the class system. They're considered one of the darkest pasts in medieval times as crimes, non-boundaries, and disease ravaged through. Many unknown souls have been called the victim of the cruel class system. They're often neglected by the upper class and was left to defend themselves. Some are even left nameless and rot to death as they lack basic needs.

The classical era takes place after the Second Great War. The segregation between humans and monsters is most prominent as tension rises and breaks apart the alliances. As both humans and monsters revolutionise, the use of titles is not prominent anymore except for formal usage. The class system is similar in Modern Era but with variations.

As they approach the end of the 19th century, both humans and monsters start to modernize technology and are open to new ideas. However, the looming class system is still present to pertain order in this World of Crystal.

Royals are the leader of each nation, although each nation has its own term for it. Because of the previous war, the leader does not have to be a descendant of the arches. However, those descendants are statistically more powerful than regular inhabitants so it would be rare for one to not be a descendant from the arches.

Nobles are the one who helps the royals control their territory. Its job is very similar to a baron serving the overlords. They hold some authority depending on the peerage. However, the highest command in action would be the royals.

Commoners are divided into middle and low classes. Similar to how the Medieval Era classified these people. Although the condition of the commoners are better than the medieval times as they could open their own business and make an influence through the nations, rather than just between region alliances.

Outcasts are the same as the Medieval Era one. Even though this class should be "abolished", the inhabitants still refer to them as the forbidden class and not low class. Outcasts usually are not mentioned in any textbooks but rather a socially accepted class.

◆ HISTORY ◆

It begins when the Crystar, Dragnar decided to create a lifeform that's different from the others. It has its own mind, desire, and fear. A being with a mind to choose. Created from the minerals on the island, he created the inhabitants. Beings made out of minerals called crystal that could move and bend the world's starlights, magic.

To start the process, He created 8 hopers and 8 dreamers. With each pair will represent something, something that will make the world turn. He will create more and they will teach the younglings what he had thought them. To move the world, there must be gears, to move the gears the must be engines.

Thus a hierarchical society was formed. With Dragnar as the "God", the Crystar alongside the Empyreans, they're prayed upon for their blessings. The arches served as their right hands and the disciples will follow their teachings.

It was the golden age, the pinnacle of the world. But after years of peace, dissatisfaction started to grow as the gaps between classes are evident. Dark magic and curses started to appear as well. The negative energy started to consume the positive energy like the dark consumes the light.

The Commoner, an elusive group that's rumoured to oppose the hierarchical society. They're called the Darkners, but soon this term will be used in ways that no one would expect.

At the same time, Monstre Lucifents, being if darkness started to emerge! No one knew their origin but other than that they exist and has a hunger for their soul. They destroyed villages and the city. Rumour spread that the Commoner's leader, insert name created those beings to destroy the world.

The world soon plunged into a dark era. No one is saved and no one could be trusted.

Knights are vowed to protect the weak and innocents will all their hearts. Their unwavering determination often contributes to countless victories. Many would join the knights and offer their hearts to the inhabitants and to the Empyreans. With that in mind, never underestimate a knight, ever! Especially if it's someone dear to them.

Mages are mana manipulator experts. They could bend mana as if it's a part of them. They unfold the secret of mana and master them. Only the mages know these spells to keep their confidentiality and to not let a commoner get a hold of them. Their mind prowess is unmatchable. Better be careful if you ever play mind games with them.

Artists are imaginator. Their thinking might be considered odd by many but their creativity could bring spice and even solutions to conundrums. They "manipulate" our senses to match what they perceive as extraordinary. Artists could offer so much yet so little time.

Seekers are archivers of knowledge. They relentlessly search for a new combination of knowledge. They put all of the scrolls in the great library. They memorise all of its contents so that it won't be lost if something happens to the great library. If you need something to know then they're your go-to forte!

Judges are looked at highly as they're the mediator of both sides. They will look and hear at any possibilities to make the right judgement. They're knowledgeable in the realm of law thus making an acquaintance with one would be a great benefit.

Governors are the heart of the law and society below the arches. They maintain stability through their pen and scrolls. A prestigious class that is only a little managed. Once you're up there, you're set to a bright future like the sun's light.

Caretakers are the backbone of the inhabitants. They have gentle personalities and warm smiles. They could even mix herbs to make healing potions. When you're hurt or need protection, the caretakers will care for you till you're full of health!

Commoners are the inhabitants that are unsatisfied with the current society. They thought that the arches have lost their divinity and that their "God" has left them. They took matters into their own hand to change the world from within the darkness. The enemy of the light.

Not any inhabitants could join as they need to keep their secret stayed secret. They will hand out a star keychain to potential followers. If they refuse it, the keychain will disappear and they will forget about the keychain and the informant they encountered.

Grimm is the nickname for the leader of the Commoner. Legend said he suddenly appeared just like the Commoner appeared out of nowhere. Just like their faceless followers, no one knows the detail of this elusive leader.

Governors are commanders. They're trained to be a leader to become the beacon of the inhabitants. Their case is similar to the Judge class. They may be lower in the hierarchy class because of their soul trait but they have an important role in society. Their status is even lifted because one of their arch, Furui, is a dragon. The most respected dreamer is believed to be a spitting image of their God, Dragnar.

Similar to the Judge class, it's very hard to enter or even withstand the training. Furui holds pride in his class so he wanted the best for the class, thus the "gruelling" requirements.

They make the law and lead, that's what is written in their class description. But it's more of like they're a suggester as all law needs the approval of the arches since they're the highest hierarchy other than the Empyreans. As for being a leader, they make sure that everything runs smoothly as without order there will be anarchy but they also make it not strict as it could lead to tyranny.

They work closely with the Judge and also the Servant class as they're the arches' right hands for leading the land. They also hold somewhat ties with the Knights for making sure the law is enacted and security purposes.

He's a strict dragon that believes that strict and precise orders are needed to establish a prosperous society. He holds pride and dislikes when something is out of his grasp or in other words, out of order.

A mysterious man with little origin. No one really knows what he looks like beside the arches. They said he has disfigured face that made him look like a monster. If Nirvana is the knight in the light then Caballero is her shadow. Furui described him as a "chameleon." One thing for sure about him is that he always wears a mask.

◆ INTRODUCTION ◆

Judges are the deciders. They enact the law and interpret it. Despite being lower in the class hierarchy, they have an important role to fulfil.

Getting into the Judge class means that you must be objective and not be persuaded by any factors. The training is considered "gruesome" as some disciples left early and joined other classes or were even classless becoming Commoner. You must have the commitment to be the judge or you'll end up swayed by the others!

They study, interpret, and enact the law. When something needs to be settled, they'd be the one who deals with it either by judging a rule, making an official statement and so on. They dwell in the area of law that other inhabitants may not know.

They work closely with the Governor class as they make the law for their districts. They have somewhat of a tie with the Knight class as they help with catching the suspects.

Despite presenting himself as a self-centred dreamer and disregarding others. He's a good listener and always keeps an objective opinion but he's not rigid like Courtney. He's open to any opinion and will reconsider his as he believed that the common people could see something that the law couldn't.

𝙲𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚝𝚗𝚎𝚢

She's a tidy person and could take care of herself. She's a meticulous perfectionist and believes that the law is above all. She doesn't trust the commoner to be entrusted with handing down verdicts as they're easily swayed and don't know the insides of the law. She often fights with Justine about this matter but she's very worried about his habits of..."trusting" commoners.

Seekers seek the truth and only the truth of this world. Their headquarter is the great librarian located in the south of Dragtal. It holds all of the known knowledge about the world.

Anyone could join the seeker's class as long as they have the desire to archive all knowledge. No one is above anyone (except for the arches) as they believe that they do not know anything and could learn from anyone, even from the inexperienced one.

They're the first twin to ever existed and their existence was considered the birth of the cause and causation. Meaning that anything is related in some way or another and that there are always opposites if something to balance it out. They're the keeper of the Animus Book and swore to protect its secret despite their class being archiving knowledge. Well...there are some things that are better to be left out, yes?

Rumour has it that he was supposed to have a twin sister, similar to Flair and Fynley but she didn't make it. He loves to play with music and so formed a good connection with Euphony. He believes in transparency and that all truth must be revealed to have a better outcome.
