Patriarchy encourages exponential population growth while matriarchy results in a stable population (because, unlike under patriarchy where pregnancy is coerced under cultural values, in matriarchy the sacrifice of pregnancy is respected and the responsibility is acknowledged). So if we are going to have a stable global population, we are going to need to get rid of patriarchy, and the only thing we can replace patriarchy with is matriarchy. (Egalitarianism is a patriarchal farce–a woman’s body does not belong half to herself and half to a man who has impregnated her; a true egalitarian system is matriarchal in structure.)

In order for this revolution to happen, radfem women will need to come together in a critical mass of solidarity to demand matriarchy as a part of communism, as female and male communists work towards proletarian revolution. Communism can not succeed without matriarchy, it allows us to balance our resource distribution and allow for plenty for all before we reach an unsustainable population (which we are not currently at).
