Night Watcher

I am Laurie Franco-Wynter and this is the blog of my wife, Sandy (Casey). It truly saddens me to have to tell everyone here that on the night of January 14th/ early morning of January 15th we lost Sandy in her fight with cancer. I know this is a shock to most here because she seldom made any reference to her illness and the ongoing struggles she faced. She always wanted to keep this blog as entertaining, exciting and happy as possible. Many of you may have notice the lack of any posts or updates since early January, she had become too weak and experienced too much pain to maintain this blog she did so dearly love.

I have made the decision to let the blog continue "as is" as a memorial to her online. She would have liked that her "work" could still be enjoyed by all her "sweet friends" and any new visitors. So, continue to browse the archive and even leave a like now and again….Sandy will still know in some way!

My daughter and I are remembering our "lost warrior" on the Memorial Weekend and would like to ask that each of you take a moment sometime in the next three days to silently say thank you for those that we lost as a nation.
