Part 1 of the Stooney project: recording their cannon scenes in Chicken Girls. Season 3 has been recorded and I’m about a quarter of the way through season 4.

As of right now I wanted to write a fanfiction that follows Rooney and Stephanie’s storyline throughout the Chicken Girls series/Brat world. I love that Brat included a gay character as well as someone who struggled with their sexuality, but in my opinion, there were a few things missing. The main storyline of Chicken Girls doesn’t follow Rooney, though she is seen developing in the background of the series existence. The way Brat writes their shows are perfectly fine for the audience they are targeting, but I just wish Rooney and Stephanie were expanded on more. So, that’s why I’m here. I am expanding on Rooney and Stephanie’s story. My goal isn’t to write an entirely new story, but flesh out and dive deeper into the existing one Brat has created with these characters. Scenes from the show may not be exactly the same, some may be stretched out or worded different, but I want to hit the same/similar plot points Brat already has. A number of scenes will definitely be original as there are large time skips between most Stooney scenes, but I want their story to feel just a little more real. This means that I need your help. What kinds of things did you go through/would Rooney go through while she figured out her sexuality? Anxiety? Fear? What is Stephanie experiencing in her relationship with Mel? What about after the season 4 finale? They seemed to not talk after that? What was that like? I want this to be a story any of you can find a piece of yourself in. So please help me bring these characters to life. Love you all! 💛
