Too often, the only escape is sleep.

I believe distance requires people to grow closer, in ways they might not explore if the distance wasn’t a factor. I believe it allows people to actually get to know the real versions of each other—there aren’t façades or all the nerves that come with being in the presence of someone you admire. I believe distance allows you to fall even deeper in love with someone than you would if they lived nearby. All you have is communication, so you have no choice but to get to know them mentally and spiritually, without knowing them physically. Distance is frustrating, but if you can make it through the frustration, the love that grows from it is more than worth it.
