“Honestly, he still needs some work. Maybe should try dancing more,” Lacey suggested. She was honestly proud of seeing Tony so invested in something, it was definitely a big change from two summers ago. “Food would be awesome, Ashton’s marathons are great, but are fueled with junk food rather than something real.”

"You are not the first person to tell me that. I have to get him more comfortable with his dancing skills. He had a hard time with trusting his singing ability initially also." Tony understood the apprehension but he knew Clark was up to the challenge. "Ashton's still up to the same stuff then," Tony chuckled. "I know the perfect place for great real food. I'll get us an uber." After confirming the uber ride Tony sent Clark a quick text saying he would see him later. "We'll be on our way in ten minutes." 

When the driver arrived Tony held the door for Lacey then got into his seat. "How is your mom?"

Lacey: Yeah, sorry. It's been crazy in D.C

Lacey: I'm good though, I'm back in Cali for break

Lacey: How are you mister music manager?

Tony: I get being too busy, how is the Capital treating you?

Tony: You should come to a gig Clark has booked on Saturday I'll send you the details

Tony: Great

Lacey: Hey

Tony: Hey

Tony: It's good to hear from you

Erin: I'm good, focusing on school and stuff

Erin: I can't wait to see it, I really miss that munchkin.

Erin: That's awesome! Are you guys coming to L.A?

Dad: Good You know how your mother always says education is a priority. Are your classes challenging you this semester?

Dad: Can't wait to have you home, it has been too long in my opinion

Erin: Hey

Erin: Miss you. How are you and mom?

Dad: Hey kiddo. How are you doing?

Dad: We miss you too, a lot. Your brother drew this awesome portrait from a picture we have of you two when he started Kindergarten

Laughter definitely. From the stage it just looks hysterical.

In order to appear professional for your sake I try to hide the laughter.

I swear some people really take the “dance like no one is watching” expression to a whole nother level

I don’t know whether to laugh or be embarrassed for them.

“Drop out and join the work force.”

“Nothing exciting, just work and sleep. What about you?”

“Interesting. Work mostly but pretty much no sleep. Plenty of alcohol.”

“I’m fine, just tired. Thank you for asking though.”

“Aren’t we all. What have you been up to?”

Whatever. I’m hungry and I need a break from this.

Good, I was tired of kicking your ass anyways. What are you in the mood for?

“Erin called, you just missed her. She says hi.”

“How is Los Angeles treating her? How are you? You’ve been so busy I haven’t been able to catch up.”

Uh- nobody likes losing, and you have an unfair advantage.  don’t play video games.

Most people can hold in how upset they are about losing. You’ll get better.
