There is something very funny about this to me

At one point we were visited in our bunks as we were about to go to sleep by the captain. He brought (fake) letters from our (fake) parents and read them in a mocking tone. "Oh! your mommy misses you on the farm. Do YOU miss your mommy?" and then, I remember this vividly, he set a letter on fire. I don't remember why. Sometimes I think about this experience and wonder if this was how it was supposed to go, or if we had a rogue team of actors who decided to this was a great opportunity to conduct some sort of experiment on school children.

For example I’ll be quiet and end conversations suddenly. But I won’t show any signs of anxiety. People have told me that they thought I didn’t like them. I’ve also had people express great surprise when I told them I have an anxiety disorder. Which was shocking to me, who thought it was so obvious. #overcontrolledboss
