We turned off notifications for this account months ago, and we’ve made the decision to log out and leave all this behind. The behavior of the online DID/OSSD system community has caused serious damage to our own healing journey, and we’ve made the decision not to interact or associate with it anymore.

This community has become anti healing and have silenced the hell that DID comes with. People have tried to make others think that systems aren’t constantly suffering, and in the process swung the pendulum so far in the opposite direction that the disorder part of DID is no longer visible. This disorder isn’t just having alters. Dissociation isn’t just listening to music and zoning out. We’re in hell. Trying to make people believe this disorder isn’t tied to suffering causes far more harm than good.

A fictive is an alter based on a fictional character. I tend to think of it like a fictional character was used as a blueprint that an alter was created based off of. For us, this occurs most often because we found the fictional character to be a source of comfort, and our brain decided that if they were real, we would feel better
