SETH WHAT THE HELL??? LMAOAOA
he said “no tf im not.”
Looking at Withered Finn's vines, I don't know if they're supposed to be ivy *specifically* or just generic plantlife. Either way, I really fucking love ivy as a motif for Withered/Yandere Finn.
Because ivy's very pretty, right? It's quaint and cute and rustic, bringing to mind shady gardens and old houses
If you're a gardener, however, it's a bit less cute. It's super fucking aggressive, completely smothering competing plants and even entire gardens if left unattended. It *clings*, and digs itself into whatever its attached to- when you remove it from a tree or a wall it leaves marks and remnants of itself, almost like scars. It damages brickwork, and can seriously fuck with your house and plumbing if you don't cut it away.
Finn's all about the plant metaphors, and I like ivy as a metaphor for a yandere character. Something that looks harmless that's actually insidious, sucking the life out of whatever it can wrap itself around
