With the way Dabi sweettalked him, thick as honey, he could ask him anything and he’d spill without any care or regard in the word. Commission secrets; hero schedules, it would be easy out of his loose lips when the other was just stroking his ego and his vanity like that. He chirped a little more, forgoing human speech and ducking his head to his neck, nosing along the curve like he might be kissing him with a beak if he had one.

Keigo felt warm and content, like he could stay there for the rest of the day, and the way he was “nesting” against him probably made it so he would be whining quite a lot of Dabi moved. “Baby .. darlin’, sweetie .. you’re killing me here!”

His tune changed quite rapidly when he felt heated fingertips touch through his wings, however; the two red limbs flaring outwards, spread eagle, and making him seem far, far more larger than he was. They fluttered and his back arched just a touch – it seems his wings were particularly sensitive to touch, and he mindfully reigned them back in to fold around them once more.

“Hnn .. careful, baby, you know how sensitive they are,” he pouted against the skin of his neck, bringing one hand back to rest against his chest. “Yer really out to make a total mess of me, aren’tcha, hot stuff? Not complaining ..”  

The fingers carding through delicate, sensitive feathers stilled momentarily; hesitance but only out of politeness. The smile that curled his scarred, stapled lips was, in a word, dangerous. Hazy, half lidded eyes regarded Keigo like a wild cat staring at it’s prey, flames dancing in them, licking at pupils that were blown wide.

He purred, a low rumbling sound deep within his chest, roaring like a distant, destructive fire. “Stay with me today?” Drawled from lazy lips, an idle hand trailing from it’s position in glorious feathers to rest at the small of Keigo’s back. He kept his hands hot, but not enough to burn. 

Those words were really doing something to him. His wings beat happily; shaking out feathers just to surround his senses more of the pyromancer, uncaring of anything and zoning in on the compliments and warmth he provided. 

“Yeah? I am?” he chirped, the only intelligible sounding thing amidst his birdsong, bringing his fluffed up wings to wrap around him, heedless of how he could incinerate them in a second and nestle down, nuzzling his face into his shoulder. 

“Ahaha … yeah I sure am. The cutest bird you’ll ever meet.”  Keigo’s arms slink around him too, gloved fingers digging into his back and a soft trill rumbling in his throat, like the coo of a pigeon. “– You tryna butter me up for something, hot stuff?”

“Whatsa’matter? I can’t absolutely shower my favourite bird in compliments without a motive?” Dabi’s lips curled into a smirk that could easily be seen as dangerous if he wasn’t knowingly feeling particularly playful today. His eyes flashed at the feathers dancing around them before their cerulean hues honed in on Keigo’s face again. 

“The absolute cutest,” much more of a growl this time. Low in his chest, crackling like dying flame but burning with all the heat of an inferno. “The best damn bird I’ve ever seen~ Look at that face. Those eyes...that smile. You could knock me off my feet if I weren’t already sittin down, songbird.”

The feeling of gloved fingers dragging on his back made his posture shift, body folding in to Keigo more, welcoming the touch, caving to it, practically purring against it. His own fingers danced across covered skin before slightly heated fingertips rose to brush their way across those gorgeous wings, carding through feathers gently. 

All surprises.

Hizashi was an impatient man, so surprised really made him squirm. He couldn’t help it—he wanted to know what it was now and the anticipation was killing him. He was always like this—ever since they were kids. Some things never changed. A frown left soft lips and he sighed, getting into the passengers side as it was held open to him. He appreciated these times they could spend together—with how busy they both were, it wasn’t very often that they could. This was…nice, to say the least.

“Fine, man. Y’win! But y’know how antsy I get about surprises, yo.” He blinked up at him, however, seeing the slightest of smiles and his posture when he came into the car himself, Hizashi leaned over, lips pressing themselves against his cheek with a hum.

“C’mon, Sho. Don’t be so nervous. You’re makin’ ME nervous!”

The feeling of Hizashi’s lips against his skin was like fire but in all the best ways. He relished those moments, though he so often protested them publicly. When they were alone, he was no different than an affectionate, almost clingy, grumpy cat. Always comfortable with being a bit more on the loving side than his self imposed isolation normally. 

“No need to be nervous, ‘zashi.” Shouta drawled, playfully rolling his eyes as the lingering ghost of a smile phased itself into a much more dangerous smirk. He knew what he was doing, and he was definitely going to use it to his advantage. “I promised you a decent dinner months ago, and with laws being changed and...” trailing off, dangerous territory, he wouldn’t want to slip and give up his plans, now would he?

Dabi practically beamed, the corners of his mouth stretching and pulling against the fresh staples. Slow healing wounds. His half lidded eyes bore into the big ruffled bird on his lap. Arms snaked around Keigo's waist, locking them both into this spot for the time being.

The number two beamed, picking up pace alongside the BMI hero with ease, grinning from ear to ear. “No problem~ everyone needs a snack every now and then!” 

Rolling his shoulders back, the large red wings at his back ruffled up like a rather pleased parakeet before Hawks lowered his headphones and pushed his tinted visor up on top of his head in their place.

That wasn’t the look a Hero gave a normal civilian. Fuck, Hawks was onto him. His face was carefully blank and neutral, making a point of ignoring the Hero’s looks and leaning back in his chair.

“Hawks!” All Might greeted in his usual booming manner, giving his shoulder a friendly pat. Then his voice lowered, rumbling quietly, conspirationally. “So what’s our plan? Are we apprehending sailor boy here on the spot or waiting for him to leave?”

"Let's wait on him to get some steam in his sails," Hawks murmured under his breath, grinning through the sudden nature of the pat on his shoulder. His wings ruffled happily as he motioned to a chair at the table he'd claimed as his perch.

He may not seem like it, but he hates small messes and clutter. He likes the area around him to be organized and clean, even if it's just to his standards.

He only mildly tolerates the sound of people chewing gum around him. Pop bubbles? You're getting dusted. Stop that.
