‘ present mic ! hey ! can i have a sec ? ‘ he chases after the teacher after class, catching him in the hallway before he can get too far. he’s been working up the courage to ask this since he got into UA, and especially since being in mic’s classroom. and today was finally the day ! it was now or never. or else he’d just chicken out for the rest of time. he needed to just go for it. 

‘ this is like, really embarrassing, but... ‘ he rummages through his bag before pulling out a plastic box. is that a limited edition ultra rare present mic figure ? yes it is. is it denki’s most cherished possession ? also yes. he had a whole stash of present mic merch from when he was a kid, but nobody needed to know that.

His nose wrinkles in disgust at the man’s foul language. He expected this sort of behaviour from the villains he’s forced to work beside, but from a so called hero? Kai shuddered, revolted, stepping back and touching his wrist where his latex glove ends, like a comforting gesture for himself.

“I see that the hero disease infecting you has now spread to create delusions and release your inhibitions.” he coldly intoned, gold eyes gleaming down over the end of his beak. “ -- They let you teach children and this is the sort of influence you want to set? You’re unfit for your position. Unfit to breathe the same air as I do, as putrid as it already is.”

Kai straightens up, pinching the edge of his glove, the warning clear.
