‪Day 6 of @sylvix-week , with Tea time.‬

‪Sylvain led Felix back inside Garreg Mach when Felix got better, and prepared tea to avoid catching a cold and warming him, who was freezing, staying under the rain for so long with few clothes‬

‘Three weeks, one day and counting,’ A story for Sylvix Week day 7: prompt is ‘flowers.’

“Can I get through one meal without you talking about your relationship? Just one, that’s all I ask,” Ingrid says, with a roll of her eyes as she sits down at breakfast half an hour later.

“Now, if Sylvain has a problem, he should talk to us,” Dimitri says leaning forward patiently, and Sylvain is ever thankful that at least one person is on his side.

“Wait, problem?” Ingrid says, immediately straightening up a little, food forgotten.

Sylvain laughs a little nervously, rubbing the back of his neck. “It’s not a problem, problem. I just don’t think he liked the flower I gave him at all, and I don’t know what to do about it.”

Ingrid looked across at Dimitri and then back to him. “You gave Felix , a flower,” she says slowly.

“Yes, I wouldn’t have thought it would be the best gift for him,” Dimitri says, but Sylvain shakes his head rapidly.

“No no, think about. I mean, if I gave you a flower, how would you feel?” he asks, just as Ingrid mutters ‘oh no’ under her breath.

Dimitri frowns. “I am not your boyfriend.”

Sylvain isn’t a coffee person, but the tiny cafe is the perfect spot to hide.

He has to hand it to the woman– Margrita Alpazar of House Rowe was a force of nature. If he’s going to be shackled to a woman and forced to bear children with her… well, he can appreciate someone with a decent backbone.

The problem with Lady Alpazar though, is that she has too much of a backbone, and that she’s just too damn assertive. It’s why his mother adores the woman, and why Sylvain still cringes at the mere mention of her.

He ducks past the wide wooden door, flattening himself against the limestone wall of the interior. He doesn’t risk looking to see if she’s passed him up, but he still waits a long moment, holding his breath.

Really, he’d wait for hours if it will throw her off his trail. And surely she isn’t about to follow him all the way to Low Street. She has standards.

Sylvain can’t stop the grimace that slides across his face. Who’s he kidding. She’s actually followed him to far worse places before, and he wasn’t even thinking about that one time at the brothel.

That was when he learned Lady Rowe packed a punch. Literally.

It’s the 60’s, and there are rules. You aren’t supposed to fall in love with your guy friend, and you definitely aren’t supposed to dance with him at prom. Modern AU, Sylvix Week day 3, Oneshot. @sylvix-week

“It’s a good color on you,” Dimitri says, his lips twitching into a smile.

Sylvain hears Felix scoff before he answers. “Shut up, boar. What would you know?”

He hasn’t looked yet, but Dimitri is probably right. Felix is one of those guys that can wear just about anything, and make it look good. Well, once you look past the tired bags under his eyes and permanent scowl etched deep into his face.

Really, quite fetching once you get used to the look of him.

It rains when Glenn dies.

And it rains again at his funeral.

Felix stares wordlessly at his grave.

Glenn is– was an asshole. He was rude, ill-tempered and constantly picked fights. He’s still not sure what Ingrid sees– Felix takes a deep breath– saw in him, but then again, Glenn was his brother, not betrothed.

It’s not as if Ingrid has ever had good taste anyway.
