âokay, i deserved that.â a nod. âand most of that is true except i didnât get drunk here, in my drunken state i thought what the hell and that walking home would be better⌠thatâs how i ended up here.â she could have left it but this wasnât her, getting drunk, walking home alone â it wasnât who she was. âi also didnât want my friends to be any more worried about me than they probably already are.â that was the truth, sheâd decided to walk him so they wouldnât see her in the state she had been in now. âi smell?â a chuckle escaped her lips as she shook her head, sitting up straight now. âso that means iâm making a great first impression, huh?â her first smile as she glanced up at him, letting out a sigh which wasnât aimed at him whatsoever and more at herself for being so stupid. âokay, sure. um thanks.â he didnât have to do this and he was, it might have been nothing to some people but this actually meant a lot to her and it got her butt moving. âhow is it even possible to feel this bad?â her one hand rubbing at her face as she slowly stood up, making sure she could steady herself if needs be.
âi know you did,â he said with a slight shrug. âah, so you had no one to help you back home. what were you doing getting drunk alone anyway?â he asked raising an eyebrow. âdid someone hurt your feelings and you decided to get drunk, walk home but not and fall asleep on the bench?â he chuckled softly. he couldnât help but make fun, it was so easy to. he wanted to know why she did it for. âare you just a drunk and you just do this all the time yourself?â he chuckled softly. he was curious about it, so he continued poking. âwhy would your friends be worried about you? did you do something?â he asked softly. he sat down on the bench now and looked at her properly. âoh you are,â he laughed âthe best first impression iâve ever seen,â he teased. he stood with her âlead the way to your place iâll walk you,â he said. âbecause you drank way too much,â he took her hand to help.
