Heya! I'm super excited for ArtFight this year and thought I'd upload my ArtFight card here! :D
I also put some of my OC's refs and some info about them under the keep reading for those of you who like lore :)

All 4 of these characters are a part of my story Spaced Out, and work together on the same starship!
This is Anta! She comes from far beyond our solar system. Further even than the Planetary Union has mapped! Not much is known about her species since Anta and her brother Arlo (who I sadly don't have a ref drawn up for him yet) are the only ones of that species the Planetary Union has seen. One of her goals is to find her home planet again since she hasn't seen it since she was very little.
Anta is outgoing and brave, and is not afraid to stand up for herself or her friends. She can be pretty stubborn at times, and will fight for what she cares about. She also loves fashion!! You'll probably never see her wear the same thing twice!
This is Lynne! She is one of the Tolaxite, a species that lives on a distant water-world. Most of the Tolaxites live underwater, but there are some who live on artificial islands/continents. They joined the Planetary Union more recently than some of the other species in the galaxy. Lynne had always wanted to travel between the stars, and now that she has left her homeworld, she is not sure whether or not she would want to return.
Lynne is pretty shy when people first meet her, but as she becomes closer friends with them she opens up more. Fashion isn't really her thing, and she usually wears comfy clothes (although Anta has been helping her find more outfits). She has hair that almost touches the ground, and tends to let her hair cover one of her eyes.
This is Chrys! He is also from beyond our solar system (this seems to be a recurring theme with my characters lol). He was born on an asteroid belt that was created from the remains of a dense, crystallized planet. Many of the asteroids in this belt are massive geodes! His species, the Crystallum, are a crystal-based species. They were one of the first species to join the Planetary Union, and they usually are the ones designing the starship since they know how to find and safely collect the crystals needed for starship warp drives.
Chrys is calm and level-headed. He loves to learn and explore! He does worry a lot, but is doing his best to mitigate that.
This is Tahlia! She is a starship captain working for the Planetary Union. Her crew includes Anta, Lynne, Chrys, and 4 others. It is their mission to explore the unknown and to help chart the galaxy!
While Tahlia is a human, she has never been to Earth. She grew up on a space station called the Nova, and the first time she lived off station was at the Planetary Union's academy, which is located on another space station.
Tahlia does her best to keep to the rules, but ends up bending them more often than not. She can seem stubborn and standoffish at times, but she cares about her crew. She and Chrys are good friends, and she trusts him enough to make him second in command on the ship. However, she has difficulties with connecting to people, and the rest of the crew are still learning about her (they do like her as their captain tho). She takes her coffee black as the night sky.
