You chose yourself when others often abandon themselves. Too many times, we ignore things in our lives, hoping they will just disappear, only to avoid the work attached that was designed to strengthen our spirits and provide us with the tools we need as we continue to walk in our chosen paths.

My advice is simple: don’t give up, don’t give in, don’t give yourself away. Don’t let others sway you from your mission. Don’t neglect yourself in the process, don’t overthink, don’t get too caught up in the difficult periods, and don’t get too comfortable in the brighter moments. Don’t become complacent when you finally see a flicker of light at the end of the tunnel, just keep walking through it.
